Collection: Fine Art

My lifelong passion for drawing reemerged after years of centering my creative skills around my career in graphic design. This new focus is a result of practicing regular meditation for over a decade, and more recently receiving my yoga certification through Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. As a result, my art inevitably transformed as I began to visualize my experience of yoga and meditation. 

This series — “Meditative Tarot” — explores the interconnectedness of our internal systems as well as our external environments. My drawings were first inspired by hair on the shower wall, which appeared as abstract feminine shapes. Spontaneous in nature, I wanted to formalize something that felt beautiful yet fleeting. The shapes evolved through my yoga practice, were solidified by anatomy, and finally visualized through meditation.
